Withdraw from a vault

To withdraw from a vault, first request an exit, then receive USDC once the vault can fund it. Requesting does not fix the price or immediately send USDC to your wallet.

The program separates request, funding and claim. The app can combine funding and claim in one transaction when conditions allow.

  1. RequestYou sign. Shares are held for your exit and still gain or lose value.
  2. WaitThe notice ends. Cash, coverage and other funding conditions must also allow an exit.
  3. FundThe allowed shares are converted into reserved USDC. A remainder can wait.
  4. ClaimReserved USDC reaches your wallet. Complete can combine funding and claim.

Before requesting

Open your vault and review the tranche's notice period and exit conditions. Keep SOL for transactions. Your shares remain exposed to gains and losses until they are funded.

1. Request

Open Withdraw, select Senior or Junior and the amount, then review and sign. A successful request holds those shares in escrow for the withdrawal. They are no longer freely transferable in your wallet.

The USDC estimate can change while you wait because the remaining shares still participate in the tranche's result.

2. Wait for eligibility and funding

The notice period must finish before the request becomes eligible. The vault also needs available USDC and sufficiently recent valuations. The executor may need to exit underlying positions to free cash.

Junior funding must preserve minimum coverage and leave cash needed by unfunded Senior requests. Senior funding can be limited by its outflow window and incident conditions.

A finished countdown means the notice period has ended. It does not guarantee that every funding condition is met.

3. Receive the funded USDC

Use the action offered beside your request:

What the request showsWhat you can do
WaitingWait for the notice period. The shares remain exposed to gains and losses.
Ready or Partly readyChoose Complete and receive…. The transaction refreshes values where needed, funds the amount currently allowed and claims it. A remainder can stay pending.
Funded, or an amount already set asideChoose Claim to receive the reserved USDC.
Waiting for liquidity / coverage, Paused or FrozenRead the reason. Unfunded shares cannot be completed until conditions allow. Any already funded amount can still be claimable.

A displayed amount is an estimate until the transaction confirms. Check the signature and wallet balance after signing. A late interface update is not a reason to submit the same request again.

A partial-withdrawal example

Suppose you request 1,000 shares. Only 400 can be funded initially. For this illustration, the first funding price is 1 USDC per share and the later price is 0.95. Ignore rounding and other costs. Assume both funding events meet the request's minimum acceptable amount and the vault's other conditions.

Point in the processUnfunded sharesUSDC ready to claimUSDC received so far
Request submitted1,00000
First 400 shares funded at 1 USDC6004000
You claim that amount6000400
Remaining 600 funded at 0.95 USDC0570400
You claim the remainder00970

The remaining 600 shares were exposed to the price change. Your total received is 970 USDC, rather than the 1,000 estimated at request time. The app can combine a funding row and its claim row through Complete and receive….

Cancelling

Cancel returns the unfunded shares to your wallet. USDC already funded stays claimable. Cancellation does not restore an earlier share price or undo gains and losses incurred while waiting.

Why an exit can take longer

External queues, insufficient cash, coverage limits, stale valuations, pauses or Recovery restrictions can delay funding. If the executor stops, public funding instructions can use idle cash but cannot unwind every invested position.

For these dependencies, read liquidity and queues. If the vault is being wound down in Settlement, it uses the separate Collect process. For an unexpected screen or transaction result, use troubleshooting.
